I’ve started this company to help teach people about you and how they can look after you. I can’t do it alone, but I can help those people who do care. Drawing from science, behaviour change, educational theory, social marketing, storytelling and art, I will remind people that they love you.

My name is Stacey Warmuth and I’m the director of Earth Messaging. I bring to your projects a unique mix of in-depth knowledge and creative flair.
I have over 17 years’ experience running biodiversity conservation and land management projects across Victoria. This work has involved engaging and educating the community and other stakeholders to achieve significant biodiversity and sustainability improvements.
Complementing this work is my creative practice including writing, editing, screenwriting and filmmaking.
I hold a Bachelor of Science/Commerce (Ecology and Marketing), a Masters of Environment (Conservation and Land Management), a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing. I’m currently completing an Advanced Diploma of Professional Screenwriting.
I don’t only come to this business with my own skills. I also have a broad network of environmental, educational, technical and creative professionals, who I can call on to support the work of Earth Messaging.

Creating engaging videos for social media and webpages
Videos are a great way to engage and to train. Mixing audio with visual imagery allows complex messages to be rapidly understood. With a little touch of creativity, they can also be entertaining and engaging.
Developing education and communication materials
As well as videos I can develop or review a range of print, digital and audio-visual media. For example, social media, articles, newsletters, websites, factsheets, brochures, manuals, signs, banners and posters. I can also support the creation of less traditional media such as games and interactive learning modules.
Helping you plan how to engage your audiences
It’s easy to pick one form of engagement, like a factsheet or workshop, and consider the task complete. However, there are many barriers to both having your messaging reach people and your messaging having an impact. The greatest impact is often achieved by using a mix of tools over a period of time. Drawing from my knowledge and experience in marketing, behaviour change and adult education, I can help you develop effective strategies to engage people, keep them engaged and drive actual change in behaviour.
Environmental writing and editing
Creating polished internal and external documents using the language style and tone suitable to the audience is a challenge. Engaging a professional writer to edit or re-write documents gives your technical know-how the impact it deserves. As well as educational documents I can support with strategies, policies, procedures, manuals and grant applications.
Educating the educators
Ultimately you are the ones with the skills and knowledge to impart. I can provide training (such as Plain English for Environment Communication) or one-on-one support and mentoring to help you better reach your audience.
